Fransabank Participated in the United Nations Global Compact - Business for Peace Event

Recognizing that business cannot thrive in presence of high risk environment and that peace and stability are vital to driving economic development, UN Global Compact launched a year ago, the Business for Peace platform which aims to expand and deepen private sector action to make positive contributions to peace and development in countries where they operate.Â
With these objectives in mind, Fransabank was the only Bank in Lebanon which attended the event in Istanbul. The initiative seeks to assist companies in implementing responsible business practices in conflict-affected and high-risk areas and catalyze action to advance peace.
