New Core Information System

To better serve our customers, Fransabank acquired a new core information system of 4th generation to replace its current system. The go live of this system is scheduled for May 2, 2017. Fransabank has made all necessary arrangements and launched a series of tests throughout two years to avoid discrepancies during the launch.
What are the main changes?
- Client ID number: Customer identification number is now a 7-digit number. It is unique by customer. To facilitate its memorization, we kept the actual client ID number unchanged and added a zero on the left side. Example: old ID number 123456; new ID number 0123456
- Account number: Account numbers has been replaced by new ones. Both old and new numbers will be displayed on all advices and statements of accounts you will be receiving
- The International Bank Account Number (IBAN): the new IBAN number will be provided upon your request at the branch. It will be displayed on statements of accounts and on Online Banking
- Statements of account: When receiving the new statement of accounts, you may at any time address the Customer Service Representative at the branch for details or queries
- Savings book: A new savings book will be delivered to you upon presentation of the current book at the counters for updates or execution of a transaction
- Checkbook: You can order new checkbooks from your branch after May 02 2017. Old checkbooks will remain functional and can be used after the go live date
- Advices of Operations: New advices have been prepared containing all new information required by the customers. Old account number will still be showing. You may at any time address the Customer Service Representative at the branch for details or queries
- Online Banking: New account numbers will be featured in the online banking application replacing the old numbers. The description of the accounts will remain the same and can help you recognize them. You may address your branch or contact the Call Center 1552 for any query
What remains unchanged?
- Domiciliation of salaries or bills: all domiciled salaries or bills will be processed as usual
- Debit cards: The debit cards remain unchanged and will point to the new account numbers
- Credit Cards: The credit cards remain unchanged and will point to the new account numbers
- Client specimen of signatures: The old specimen will remain valid
- Account opening contracts/proxy/engagements and other documents: You may at any time address the Customer Service Representative at the branch for details about legal documents to be signed, if necessary
As advised above, Fransabank SAL has launched for two years an exhaustive test to make sure that the transition from the old system to the new one goes smoothly and without incidents, nevertheless, and in case you have any inquiry, you are welcome to approach your branch or call our call center at 1552.
